Following a scenic drive across the Waimea Plains, the Moutere Hills and on to Kaiteriteri. Take in the stunning coastline of Abel Tasman National Park as you cruise the full length of New Zealand’s most picturesque park with its beautiful clear waters, fur seal colonies and golden sand beaches.
Disembarking at the Northern end of the park in Tōtaranui, your guide will take you on a journey of discovery and intrigue. Golden Bay is a scenic feast of diverse landforms, spectacular views, golden sand beaches, stunning waterfalls and natural springs producing some of the clearest water in the world. On this interpretative journey you will wander through sub-tropical rain forest, amongst interesting rock formations, along golden sand beaches, visit Te Waikoropupū Springs and stop for a gourmet picnic lunch of local produce along the way.
Returning to your accommodation, we drive over Takaka Hill, through unusual granite and marble rock formations, taking in stunning views back over Golden Bay, Abel Tasman National Park and Tasman Bay.
